Hello! I have had a very busy summer keeping the kids busy and enjoying the outdoors. While it has mostly been very hot and sunny here this summer, today is rather rainy and a wee bit cold, so I took some time to make this card using Mojo Monday sketch #254.

I used a few new products from the *New* Autumn/Winter 2012 CTMH Idea Book and Catalouge. The new products I used are: Clementine paper, Saddle ink, burlap ribbon, almond glitter gel, and brown and tan Sparkles. My favourite part of making this card was using the new Artiste Cricut Cartridge. I cut out the thanks bubble with my Cricut at the size specified on the stamp sheet, stamped the image, and, voila! A perfect accent.

I used direct to paper technique to apply the ink to the papers. I am right handed so, I did this by holding the open ink pad the long way with my thumb on the right long side, my index finger on the top short side and my other 3 fingers curled around the far long side. I then held the paper in my left hand and turned the paper clockwise as I swiped the ink on the edge of the paper. I popped up the small rectanglar section with foam tape and added almond glitter gel to the middle of some of the flowers. I also outlined the thanks bubble with the glitter gel. Finally, I added 3 sparkles with a paper piercer to the bottom right corner.
